At SACA, we're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our Finance team.

This is more than a traditional accounts payable role. You'll be the go-to person for suppliers and colleagues across the business, helping ensure invoices, payments, reconciliations and purchasing processes run smoothly and efficiently. You'll also play an important role in strengthening financial controls, identifying process improvements and supporting a high-performing finance team.

It would also be great if you have…

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or bookkeeping, or similar relevant practical experience
- Demonstrated experience in a finance officer or accounts role, supporting core financial activities including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Unwavering integrity, authenticity, professionalism and a customer focus
- Ability to be flexible, collaborative and a positive influence in a small team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, liaison and active listening with a variety of people
- Ability to manage high workloads, with high attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Proven capability in preparing and maintaining balance sheet and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- An understanding of financial information, including the identification of trends, risks and opportunities for management consideration
- A sound understanding of financial accounting and compliance requirements, with the desire to develop and maintain best practice in these areas
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar Accounting Software
- Working knowledge of Basware, or similar Purchase Order based system, would be beneficial





You will need also to hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one.

It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the SA Men's and Women's Teams and Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
