About the Role
Working within our manufacturing workshop, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, repair, and modification of a range of heavy-duty equipment and components. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced tradesperson who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of steel components and assemblies
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
- Operating fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Performing repairs and modifications to equipment as required
- Maintaining a clean and secure work environment
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
- Ensuring work is completed to RAM Equipment's quality standards
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator
- Experience with MIG welding and general steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
