Trade Assistant / Labourer – Full Time/Casual

We are an experienced Western Australian bore, pump and irrigation business specialising in groundwater pumping units, irrigation systems, underwater works and related pump maintenance services.

About the Role

This hands-on position involves working alongside our pump rig operators to remove and install bore pumps, headworks and associated irrigation components. The successful applicant may also assist our commercial dive team with removing and servicing lake infrastructure, as well as supporting workshop staff with stripping and assembling groundwater pumps.

Key Duties

· Assist pump rig operators with bore pump removal and installation.

· Help install, remove and service headworks and irrigation components.

· Support the commercial dive team with lake infrastructure removal and servicing when required.

· Assist workshop staff with stripping, cleaning and assembling groundwater pumps.

· Load, unload and prepare tools, equipment and materials for site works.

· Maintain safe, tidy and organised work areas in the workshop and on site.

About You





· Previous experience as a trade assistant, labourer or in a similar hands-on role is desirable.

· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are important.

· Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in workshop environments.

· Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.

· A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential.

· A current driver’s licence is preferred.
