Sefa (Social Enterprise Finance Australia) is one of Australia's leading impact finance and advisory organisations. We're seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Queensland Market Lead to strengthen Sefa's presence across Queensland and help grow the state's impact investing and social enterprise ecosystem.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines commercial acumen with a passion for social impact. You will build strategic partnerships, originate advisory and lending opportunities, guide complex engagements, and position Sefa as a trusted partner to government, philanthropy, investors and social enterprises across the state.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Impact & Advisory, you'll take a lead role in building Sefa's market presence in Queensland while contributing to national opportunities and initiatives.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will:

- Grow Sefa's presence and impact in Queensland by building strategic relationships and developing a strong pipeline of advisory and lending opportunities.
- Build and manage influential partnerships across government, philanthropy, investors, industry and the social enterprise sector, positioning Sefa as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Lead advisory and lending opportunities from origination through to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.
- Provide strategic guidance to purpose-driven organisations on financial sustainability, growth, impact strategy, business models and capital readiness.




- Drive operational excellence and team capability through strong leadership, quality assurance, risk management and continuous improvement.

About you

We're looking for someone who can confidently operate at a senior level, influence diverse stakeholders, and navigate both commercial and social impact environments.

You'll bring:

- Established networks across Queensland government, private sector, philanthropic, not-for-profit and/or impact investment sectors.
- Strong business development skills, including pipeline development and converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
- Experience leading complex advisory, consulting, investment, strategy or organisational development engagements.
- Strong financial and commercial analysis capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
