- RMEM is a large Mechanical, Electrical and Fabrication Company located in Canning Vale W.A specialising in the overhaul and refurbishment of mechanical and electrical equipment for the mining industry. An exciting new opportunity exists for a FULLTIME Machinist, to join the business.
About you
- An experienced Manual Machinist with 5+ years’ experience and solid CNC experience, preferably using FANUC controllers.
- Strong manual machining skills with the ability to set up and operate CNC machinery.
- Set up, operate and program CNC machines when required, with FANUC experience highly regarded.
- Experience in machining shafts up to 5mts and 5T.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications confidently
- Select tooling, set offsets and run production efficiently
- Carry out in-process checks and final inspection to quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues
- Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean safe work area
What you need
- Trade Qualification
- C Class Drivers License
- Forklift and OH Crane Licenses essential
- Own Toolbox and tools
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Australian working rights
