About the Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and capable Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our growing team.

Whether you’re an experienced access or forklift technician, or a qualified mechanic looking to move into the industry, we’d love to hear from you. If you have strong mechanical skills, diagnostic experience and a willingness to learn, we can provide the industry-specific training you need to get started.

This is a mobile field service role where you'll enjoy variety, autonomy and direct customer interaction while working on a wide range of forklift and access equipment.

What You'll Be Doing





Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on forklifts.

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

- Attending customer breakdowns and providing effective solutions on-site.

- Building strong relationships with customers through professional and friendly service.

- Completing service reports and invoices using our easy-to-use service app.

- Assisting with the preparation of repair quotations and recommendations.

- Working independently while having the full support of an experienced team behind you.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Current Class C Driver's Licence.

- Relevant trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic).

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- Basic computer literacy and confidence using mobile technology.

- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)

- Previous forklift or access repair experience.

- LPG qualification.

- Forklift licence.

- Hydraulic systems experience.

- Auto electrical experience.
