About the role

As the founding Practice Manager for a brand-new, multi-specialty and psychiatric practice in Stirling, Adelaide Hills, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the practice from the ground up. You will work closely alongside the owner partners to build operations, establish administrative workflows, and set a high standard of patient care and staff culture. The practice will offer both face-to-face and telehealth services.

Key responsibilities

- Collaborate directly with the owner partners on clinic setup, room furnishing, medical equipment procurement, and operational readiness

- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and day-to-day leadership of administrative and reception staff

- Oversee administrative payroll, billing workflows, processing supplier and vendor invoices, and managing day-to-day accounts payable

- Establish and maintain smooth daily workflows for both in-person patient consults and digital and telehealth services

- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy, Medicare billing guidelines, and practice policies

About you





- Direct experience as a Practice Manager or senior assistant manager in a specialist, psychiatric, or multi-disciplinary medical practice is essential

- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with high dedication and commitment to launching a current business

- Availability and willingness to provide flexibility and occasional outside-hours support during peak setup and launch periods

- Strong familiarity with cloud-based medical practice management software, Medicare and DVA processing, and payroll systems

- Outstanding interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with medical specialists, administrative staff, patients, and external suppliers
