Hotel Panorama is seeking a driven and highly capable Functions Manager to take ownership of our functions pipeline from initial enquiry through to event execution.
This person will be responsible for managing a high volume of enquiries, producing accurate function sheets and coordinating with kitchen and FOH teams to deliver high standard events.
This is a quick paced role for someone that loves being organised and can confidently juggle multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to a high volume of function enquiries via phone, email and in person
- Prepare accurate and timely function sheets and distribute them to relevant departments
- Create invoices, follow up payments and stay on top of outstanding debtors
- Oversee key functions on the day
- Be present to assist on key trading days such as Melbourne Cup, Mother's Day,
Christmas Day

About You
- Proven experience in a hospitality management setting, ideally in functions or events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Advanced administration skills
- Excellent customer service and follow-up abilities
- Proficiency in basic audio-visual equipment
