We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to work within our Accounts Payable team. This role is responsible for both standard financial accounts payable duties and for the reporting & analysis for this area.

The Person

- Complete the processes in relation to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Petty Cash, Cash and Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare and present draft monthly Sundry Debtors to Finance Team
- Prepare EFT payment, including verification through EFT payment portal and upload to correct trading bank account
- Bank reconciliation and reporting for end of month posting approving
- Generate and distribute remittance advices
- Investigate and rectify problems with resource usage
- Create requisitions using ARM software
- Data entry of appropriately authorised and coded tax invoices (including scanned uploads) and payment requests
- Liaise with Creditors and responding to enquiries, resolve invoice discrepancies

Key Selection Criteria for this position includes:

- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to provide high level of customer service
- Previous experience of at least two years performing in Accounts Payable / Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, general ledger. Cash and related procedures including GST.




- Proficient computer literacy and knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Proven ability to understand and utilise financial software applications more complex than MYOB / Quicken
- Well developed priority and time management skills, and ability to work independently (if required)
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
- Certificate III in Accounts Administration or similar qualification / experience preferably in a health care setting.
- Demonstrated experience in accurate and timely data processing and reconciliations.
