Job Description
Fixed-term, Part time (August 2026 to April2027)
The Geelong College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced 1stBoys Tennis Coach to lead our premier boys' tennis program for the2026/2027 APS season.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach to develop talented student-athletes, foster a positive team culture, and contribute to a competitive APS tennis program. Working closely with the Director of Sport, Teacher in Charge of Tennis and Strength & Conditioning staff, you will play a key role in the technical, tactical, and personal development of our students.
The role includes pre-season training from Term 3, 2026, with the APS season running from Term 4, 2026 through to the end of Term1, 2027.
Qualifications And Experience
- Elite coaching and/or high-level playing experience intennis.
- Tennis Australia Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (or equivalent).
- Experience coaching children and young people.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to developing young athletes.
- The ability to foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
Essential Compliance Requirements
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status) or VIT Registration, or ability to obtain
- Completion of College anaphylaxis training (or accredited equivalent)
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Asthma Management certification
- Completion of the Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations module (Victorian Department of Education and Training)
- Provide Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Victorian Driver's Licence
