Security Guard/Crowd Controller - Ironbar Port Douglas

Ironbar Saloon in Port Douglas, Queensland is seeking a friendly and experienced Security Guard/Crowd Controller to join our team. This is a casual position in an exciting hospitality environment, perfect for those who thrive in a vibrant social setting.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining the safety and security of our patrons, staff and premises

Monitoring the venue to identify and address any potential issues or disturbances

Assisting with the orderly management of queues and controlling the flow of people entering and exiting the venue

Providing excellent customer service and a warm welcome to all our guests

Collaborating with the management team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

What we're looking for

Prior experience as a security guard or crowd controller, preferably in the hospitality industry

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts

A friendly,



professional and approachable demeanour

Exceptional situational awareness and problem-solving skills

Certification in security or crowd control (or willingness to obtain)

A current Queensland Security Licence
