AJM Transport is a family owned and operated national transport and logistics company specialising in express linehaul freight with branches in Newcastle Brisbane and Melbourne. We operate a fleet of 90 prime movers and 250+ trailers, forklifts and company vehicles.

We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable and hands on Transport Yard Hand to join our team at our Brisbane depot, based in Rocklea.

The role:

Tidying, preparing and setting up trailers ready for loading

Working alongside the operations team to coordinate allocated trailers and trucks

Assisting with local pickups and deliveries when required

Keeping the yard safe, clean, organised and ready to go

Helping keep the operation moving efficiently each day

Flexibility as overtime may be required

Requirements:

HR licence at a minimum is essential

Robust knowledge of load restraint and vehicle weights

Sound verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage manual handling tasks

Previous experience in a similar role

Understand and comply with Work, Health & Safety requirements
