Precision Labour Hire is currently recruiting reliable, physically capable Heavy Labourers / Heavy Freight Unloaders to join our busy freight client based in Crestmead.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role unloading heavy, bulky and awkward freight for the full shift. Applicants must be confident they can safely perform repetitive heavy manual handling in a fast-paced freight workplace from start to finish.

What’s on offer

Location: Crestmead

Monday to Friday roster

Afternoon shift with 3.00pm starts

4–6 hours per shift

Pay rate: $38.29 per hour

Ongoing work with immediate starts available

About the role

Manually unloading heavy freight from trucks and trailers in a busy freight depot

Handling large, bulky and awkward items, including trampolines, gym equipment and oversized goods

Completing repetitive heavy lifting and manual handling for the full shift

Breaking down pallets and boxes

Sorting and moving freight throughout the depot

Strapping trailers and securing curtains





Working safely and efficiently as part of a team while maintaining pace throughout the shift

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in heavy labouring, freight unloading, container unloading, warehousing or transport is highly regarded

Must be physically capable of heavy, repetitive manual handling for the entire shift

Confident lifting and moving heavy, bulky and awkward freight safely and consistently

Able to lift 25kg safely, with two-person lifts used for heavier items

Reliable, punctual and available to start immediately

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding freight environment

Committed to following workplace health and safety procedures

Own reliable transport is essential, as the site is not accessible by public transport

Own PPE required, including a hi-vis shirt, work pants and steel cap boots
