Job Title: HR Truck Driver - Front Lift

Workfast is currently looking for a HR truck driver to join our Waste Management team located in Townsville, QLD.

We are currently working on behalf of a well-recognised and reputable Waste Management company that operates nationally. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers for long-term work in Townsville, QLD.

Job Responsibilities

- Operating Heavy Rigid trucks, including front and rear lift loaders
- Early morning starts between 5:00am - 6:00am
- Safely operate HR waste collection vehicles




- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any defects
- Collect and transport recyclable materials efficiently
- Comply with all safety, fatigue management, and road regulations
- Maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Some manual handling required when servicing tighter access locations

Requirements

- Valid HR Driver's Licence (minimum)
- 3-4 years' experience as a truck driver
- Experience operating front lift and/or rear lift trucks (highly regarded)
- Previous experience within the waste management industry (preferred)
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, if required
- Own reliable transport
