We are seeking a reliable and experienced Process Operator to join our clients production team. This is a casual prospect offering consistent Monday to Friday work, weekly pay with opportunity to lead to a permanent position.
If you have solid machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitor production processes and product quality
- Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
- Carry out manual handling tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Essential: Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Highly desirable: Experience within the steel manufacturing or metal processing industry
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The physical capability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks throughout your shift
Pre-Employment Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Be physically fit to perform the inherent requirements of the role
