About The Opportunity

NSW Health Pathology's Forbes Laboratory is seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team on a temporary part time basis. In this role, you will support the delivery of diagnostic services by assisting with specimen collection, preparation, and laboratory processes that contribute to patient care across the community.

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and able to work effectively within a team in a busy healthcare environment. This is a great opportunity to build your career within NSW Health Pathology while contributing to essential services in a supportive regional setting.

What You'll Be Doing

Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform a range of pre analytical duties including pathology collections, receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
