About the Role
Join a Leading Victorian Law Firm
You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial matters while working closely with senior practitioners on complex litigation, including:
- Shareholder, director and partnership disputes.
- Contractual disputes and commercial litigation.
- Debt recovery and insolvency matters.
- Professional negligence claims.
- Defamation and reputational disputes.
- Commercial leasing and property disputes.
- Corporate and business advisory matters.
- General dispute resolution, mediation and court proceedings.
This role offers exposure to high-quality litigation, direct client contact and genuine opportunities to develop your practice within a collaborative and supportive team.
About You
You will be a motivated practitioner who enjoys solving complex legal problems and building solid client relationships.
Ideally, you will possess:
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD).
- An unrestricted Victorian Practicing Certificate.
- Admission to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
- A minimum of four years' post-admission experience in commercial law or commercial litigation.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- The ability to manage files independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
