The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Pump Technician to join our growing team. This role requires a tradesperson who can consistently deliver high-quality work, solve problems independently, and contribute to training and mentoring apprentices. Prior experience in retail or commercial maintenance plumbing/commercial building services will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and independent problem-solving
- Training and supporting apprentices
- Customer and client engagement
- Reading and interpreting site plans and specifications
- Scoping and quoting project works and delivering minor projects
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring WHS and compliance standards are met onsite
Qualifications and Skills
- Licensed Plumber or Journeyman highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience as a Pump Technician/Fitter.
- Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect highly regarded but not essential as training will be provided
- Manual driver’s licence (Mandatory)
- Ability to manage work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
