- Work Type: Fixed term (external applicants) / Temporary Assignment (internal DJSIR employees) / Secondment (VPS employees external to DJSIR) (until 30 June 2027)
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne/Hybrid (flexibility may be available)
- Support the planning and delivery of engagement activities that promote programs and initiatives across Victoria.
- Act as the first point of contact for community organisations, clubs and participants seeking to engage with programs and initiatives.
- Support the administration and delivery of high‑volume grant programs, including application intake, eligibility screening, assessment, funding agreement preparation, payment processing and acquittals.
The Team
The position of Engagement Officer – Program Delivery forms a part of the Community Sport and Recreation branch within the Sport and Experience Economy group.
- Demonstrated solid administrative and task‑management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet time‑critical deadlines.
- Proven ability to create engaging, audience‑appropriate digital content. Demonstrated experience in email, social media and digital marketing best practice.
- Skilled in preparing briefs, letters, reports and emails that are clear,
concise and purpose‑fit. Communicates ideas confidently in both written and verbal forms, tailoring style to the audience, and ensuring key messages are understood.
