The Chance
As a Maintenance SupportOfficer in the City of Perth, you will provideadministrative support to the Infrastructure Maintenance Service, with a strong focus on high-quality customer service and the timelyprocessing of orders and invoices. You will work closely with ourinfrastructure maintenance crews, internal financial services andexternal customers to support the effective day-to-day delivery ofmaintenance services.
Reporting to the Coordinator CivilMaintenance within our Infrastructure and Assets team, yourresponsibilities would primarily include:
- Providing administrative support, including preparingcorrespondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas andminutes;
- Undertaking financial administration, including quotations,purchase orders, invoicing and expenditure tracking;
- Maintaining team records and systems, including timesheets,training records, WHS documentation, service requests andoperational records; and
- Delivering responsive customer service by managingenquiries, service requests and complaints from internal andexternal customers.
About You
To succeed in this role, you willpossess:
- Well-developed written, verbal and numeracy skills, withthe ability to prepare accurate and timely reports;
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, includinga helpful and conflict de-escalating approach;
- Demonstrated practical experience using computer programsespecially SharePoint and Teams and other office technology,with the ability to support operational staff in navigatingthese systems; and
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with theability to prioritise competing workloads and meetdeadlines.
Previous Local Government experience,exposure to budgets, purchasing, invoicing or accounts payable, andknowledge of safe working systems will be highly regarded.

Eligibility

- A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence; and
