About the Role

As a Contracted Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-informed, person and family-centred care across a variety of clinical settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and consumers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based practice.
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and responding appropriately to clinical changes.
- Coordinating and managing the care of individual patients or groups of patients.
- Collaborating with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to achieve optimal care outcomes.
- Supporting patient education, discharge planning and health literacy initiatives.
- Providing supervision and direction to delegated staff including Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and participating in quality improvement activities.
- Contributing to a positive, respectful and skilled workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated commitment to person and family-centred care.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Understanding of quality, risk management and clinical governance principles.
- Experience using electronic clinical information systems.
