Due to an internal promotion, we're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our high-performing Sydney team. This is an opportunity to join one of Stryker's most experienced service teams, supporting a broad portfolio of market-leading medical technology across Sydney.

What you'll bring

We're less concerned about where you've worked and more interested in how you're wired. You might be an experienced Field Service Engineer, come from a trade, defence, automotive or manufacturing background, or simply be someone who's always been hands-on and technically minded. Maybe you've spent years troubleshooting equipment, maintaining machinery, building things, or restoring cars in your spare time. What matters most is that you're curious, practical, enjoy solving problems, and thrive as part of a team.

- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Confidence using tools and working with technical equipment
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support your teammates
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Work Flexibility

- Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
- Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
- Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
- Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
