What's The Role

We're seeking an experienced Linehaul Driver to join our team who is experienced in higher combinations, to drive a 30m B-Double. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. We’re part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.

Roster

Higher Combination: Monday - Friday | 10pm Nightshift Shuttle Linehaul: Based out of Erskine Park Depot

Responsibilities

- Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
- Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

What You'll Bring

- Current and valid MC driver licence to perform the above-mentioned role.
- Preferred experience in High Combinations or Road Train experience.
- Previous Commercial Driving Experience detailed in your resume.
- Current BFM, preferred but not essential.
- A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
- Well presented,
