About the role

- Manage research finances including sponsor invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, study revenue and expenditure, and other clinical trial financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting financial reporting, forecasting and oversight.
- Support clinical trial financial administration, including budgets, Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRAs), study milestones, contracted services and payroll processing.
- Build strong relationships with investigators, study teams, sponsors, vendors and Finance teams, providing accurate information and assisting with routine financial and operational queries.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Research Unit,



contributing to process improvements and SOP development while ensuring compliance with organisational policies, contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

About you

- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in business administration, financial administration, clinical research administration, or a related field.
- Robust financial administration skills, with experience managing invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and monitoring revenue and expenditure.
- Confident using financial and business systems, including Oracle or similar ERP systems, Microsoft Office and databases, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities, with the ability to coordinate end-to-end processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and adhere to organisational policies, professional standards and Good Clinical Practice requirements.
