We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Roads Maintenance Labourers to join a growing team delivering essential roadside vegetation maintenance services across the Brisbane region.
This is an active, outdoor role that offers a great work-life balance with a 4-day working week and ongoing employment opportunities.
About the Role
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Walking designated streets and road corridors
- Applying herbicides using a backpack (knapsack) spray unit
- Weed control along footpaths, gutters, kerbs, and roadside areas
- Following safe work practices and environmental guidelines
- Completing daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A current Driver's Licence
- A current White Card
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A strong level of physical fitness
- The capability to walk up to 20km per day while carrying a backpack spray unit weighing approximately 15kg
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
