A family-owned roofing business based in Gympie is looking for a motivated Roofing Labourer to join our team. We service areas from Hervey Bay to the Sunshine Coast , working on residential homes and sheds.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and learning a skilled trade. No experience is necessary – we are happy to train the right person.

About the Role
You will be assisting the leading hand in all aspects of roof removal and installation.

Duties include:

- Laying Colorbond metal roof sheeting
- Carrying and positioning sheet metal
- Screwing off roofing sheets
- Cleaning and maintaining job sites
- Assisting with removing and reinstalling roofs on homes and sheds

Requirements

- Driver’s licence
- Must have reliable transport
- Must be willing to travel for work
- White Card (or willing to obtain before starting)
- Physically fit and able to handle manual outdoor work
- Reliable, willing to learn and keen to progress through the levels.

Starting salary: $70,000 per annum
