About us:
Salt House is a up-to-date, special facility licensed venue designed specifically for the tropical climate we enjoy. Our venue contains a 180 pax restaurant featuring a wood fired Argentinian grill, a private dining room for up to 20 guests, 20 pax standalone pizzeria, 2 large cocktail bars with daybeds and plenty of open seating areas leading to a large grassed area. This allows us to accommodate many different kinds of events and functions from large weddings to our annual Food & Wine Festival.

We cater to a broad and varied demographic taking great pride in holding a solid reputation for friendly professional service. We are a passionate supporter of live music and entertainment with a weekly programme of musicians and DJs.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and energetic Duty Manager to join our Management Team. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the venue, including administration, facilities, security, staff and customer service.

Responsible for managing,



motivating and training staff

Providing exceptional customer service to all guests

Ensuring safety and compliance

Liaising and co-ordinating entertainment and security

Ensuring the venue runs smoothly and efficiently

Ensuring compliance with all government regulations

Salary commensurate with experience

About you:

Minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar role

Strong professional leadership skills and team management skills

Passion for and strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry

Extensive knowledge of cocktails, premium wines, and craft beers

Ability to multi task and work under pressure

Flexibility and availability to work days, nights and weekends and be present during major events
