We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Store Supervisor to join the Pretzel Australia team in Cannington, WA. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a energetic Bakery/Cafe/Fast Food environment and make a real impact on our store's success. As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with your team on the shop floor, driving sales and maintaining the high standards Pretzel Australia is known for.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage store staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and development
Ensure the store meets all operational standards, including cleanliness, merchandising and stock management
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets and drive business growth
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile till systems
Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
Communicate effectively with head office and implement company initiatives and promotions
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and well-organised
What we're looking for
Experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in a fast-paced food or beverage environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Knowledge of retail operations, stock management and point-of-sale systems
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is desirable
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure
