We are seeking anWorkshop Bus Transfer Driverto join our Maintenance team on permanent full-time basis at both North Sydney and Brookvale depot.

About the Role:

AsWorkshop Bus Transfer Driver (Maintenance Support) is responsible for the planned movement of buses between depots and external contractors, while also providing hands-on support within the workshop. Based out of the North Sydney Depot, this role includes driving buses between North Sydney and Brookvale depots, assisting tradespersons, completing minor repairs, and carrying out ad hoc workshop duties to support fleet maintenance operations.

Drive and transfer buses between North Sydney Depot, Brookvale Depot, and external contractors across Sydney

Support planned maintenance programs by ensuring timely and safe vehicle movements

Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks under direction





Assist tradespersons with workshop activities as required

Complete ad hoc workshop duties, including cleaning, refuelling, and vehicle preparation

Follow all safety, operational, and compliance procedures

Accurately complete required documentation and reports

Maintain a qualified standard when representing the business on public roads and at contractor sites

Working hours between 06:00 – 22:00

Key Requirements:

Interest in heavy vehicle fleet maintenance work, or equivalent/relevant experience

Labouring experience with heavy or large vehicles (preferred but not essential; training provided)

Ability to operate cleaning and general workshop equipment

Physically capable of performing manual tasks

Strong team player, able to work cooperatively in a busy maintenance environment

Experience in an industrial or similar setting (advantageous)

General interest or aptitude in equipment or vehicle servicing

MR or HR driver’s license (preferred)

Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal history, and working with children checks

All tools, protective equipment, and uniforms provided
