We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Penrith .

Working alongside the Store Manager, you will help lead the team and drive the day-to-day performance of the store. You'll be hands‑on across customer service, sales, team development, merchandising and store operations, while helping create a positive and high‑performing environment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail leader looking to take the next step in their career with a growing national business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the store to achieve sales, financial and operational targets
- Deliver and lead exceptional customer service standards
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve strong performance
- Support the management of KPIs, inventory and shrinkage
- Manage visual merchandising and in-store promotions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Help create a positive, energetic and productive store environment
- Support scheduling, rostering and reporting requirements
- Assist with the overall day-to-day operation of the Penrith store

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:





- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and sales focus
- Sound commercial awareness and experience working towards KPIs
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with merchandising and in-store promotions
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment
- A hands‑on attitude and willingness to get involved across all areas of the store
