Cunneen Signs (cunneensigns.com.au) is a family owned bespoke signage manufacturer in Holroyd that has been servicing Government, Architectural, Corporate and Design clients for over 50 years. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, durable, and visually stunning signage products to our clients. Due to steady growth we’re looking for an experienced foundry operator to add to our energetic team and contribute to our continued success. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy hands-on and varied tasks, and want to work in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you. As a foundry worker, you will play a key role in the production of high-quality cast bronze, aluminium and brass products ranging from plaques to crests and coats of arms.

Key Responsibilities

- Competently operate and maintain foundry equipment, including furnace, sand moulding equipment, and casting tools.
- Prepare sand moulds
- Melt and pour metals into sand moulds to create products in accordance with specifications.
- Perform tasks such as hand finishing, grinding, colouring and polishing castings.




- Ensure products meet quality standards and perform necessary quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in similar foundry work is a must
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to assist in other areas of our production team when not casting
- A commitment to safety and quality standards
