We have an exciting prospect for a physiotherapist to join our growing team. We offer flexible work arrangements on a part-time basis (1-3 days per week, with scope to expand as desired). This role involves providing community-based physiotherapy to older adults, people with disability, and individuals recovering at home post-surgery through Rehab in the Home (RITH) programs. We tailor client referrals to your preferred location to make your caseload more manageable and provide full administration support. The role offers a varied caseload with a level of autonomy and clinical support from the Director of Clinical Services and other senior physiotherapists.

Permanent, ongoing position (we would consider casual work arrangements as well)

Duties

Provide high quality physiotherapy services for older people, adults and people with disability using a range of physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques across a range of age groups within a community setting.





Provide Physiotherapy services for people in the home to recover from surgery

Improve the quality of life of your clients by helping them reach their goals and increase flexibility, strength and movement.

Help people recover from accidents, illness or injury.

Design therapeuticphysical exercisesessions and programs for your clients and provide education to their carers, support workers and family members.

Monitor the person's progress against the treatment plan or goals.

Provide education and adviceabout exercise and movement and on manual handling techniques and mobility equipment.

Be creative in your approach to come up with novel and innovative ways in which to improve a person's life.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, and ensure that a productive relationship exists between Move Healthcare and community agencies, clients and their families/carers.

Ensure timely responses to enquiries, maintain accurate and up to date documentation and seek feedback where possible.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving people's mobility, helping them achieve their goals, and ultimately improving people's lives.

We require someone who is an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked with older people or those with a disability before.

We require someone located in Australia
