Type A Technician - Service, Warehouse & Technical Support

This is a unique role that will see you provide first-class service and support to our clients through accurate diagnosis and hands‑on product knowledge, work in our warehouse assisting with equipment and skid assembly (utilising your plumbing skills), and act as a technical point of contact for our team and customers. It's a varied role that moves between client sites, our workshop in Epping, and time spent working through technical queries - sometimes on the go, and other times at a desk digging into the detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Service and repair Type A heating and ventilation units
- Diagnose service issues and calibrate to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate with clients and keep them informed throughout the job
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting advice to our team and customers, whether on the road, by phone, or at a desk working through more complex queries
- Utilising your plumbing skills to support the warehouse team with hands‑on assembly work and provide technical guidance as required
- Complete accurate paperwork and service reports on time

What You'll Bring

- Plumbing, Gas Licence/Registration (Type A)
- Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect)

- Knowledge of hot water solutions an advantage, but not essential
- Current driver's licence and clean driving record
- White Card
- Strong technical and product knowledge, with the ability to translate this into explicit advice for others
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric approach
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and prioritise a busy workload
- Well‑presented, reliable, and a genuine team player
