The opportunity

As a Team Member Parks Maintenance, you'll help keep HobsonsBay's parks, gardens and open spaces looking their best.Working as part of the Parks and Open Space team, you'llundertake a variety of horticultural and maintenanceactivities, operate plant and equipment, and contribute tosafe, high-quality public spaces that the community can enjoyevery day.

What you’ll do

- Carry out parks and horticultural maintenance includingmowing, planting, weeding, mulching and garden care.
- Maintain park assets such as playgrounds, furniture,fences, paths and landscaped areas.
- Operate and undertake routine maintenance of plant,machinery and equipment.
- Complete safety documentation, follow safe work practicesand identify workplace hazards.
- Record work activities digitally and provide excellentcustomer service to the community.

What you need to succeed

- Trade Certificate in Horticulture or relevant horticulturalexperience.
- Experience operating and maintaining a range of light andheavy machinery.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality parks and open spacemaintenance.
- Confidence using mobile devices and digital systems tomanage work activities.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to obtain amedium rigid truck endorsement.

Pre-Employment Requirements
