Farrawell Glass and Aluminium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Truck Driver/Window Manufacturer to join our team in Kempsey, NSW. This full-time position is crucial in delivering our quality glass and aluminium products to our valued customers across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operating a commercial truck to transport glass and aluminium products to customer sites
- Ensuring safe and effective loading and unloading of all products in a professional manner
- Assisting in the manufacture of windows, doors, and other glass and aluminium products in our production facility
- Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in perfect condition
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company vehicle
- Collaborating with the production team to identify ways to improve efficiency and quality
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence or better, with a strong driving record
- Experience in the secure operation of commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery or logistics role
- A minimum of 1-2 years of commercial truck driving experience is required
- Demonstrated skills in the manufacture and assembly of glass and aluminium products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
- A flexible and collaborative approach to work
- Familiarity with the glass and aluminium industry or a similar manufacturing environment
- Australian work rights are required for this position
