About the role:

Support the day to day purchasing, warehousing and fleet administration functions across Mackays Group. You will work Monday to Thursday (6:30am to 4:30pm) in a hands on position combining warehouse support, procurement adminsitration and fleet coordination.

Responsibilities:

Procurement and Warehouse Administration Support

On receipt of orders; verify that correct supplies and quantities have been received upon delivery of orders

Coordinate and organise supplies for farms and warehouses to ensure readiness for collection

Support the Warehouse Administrator in generating and receipting iMac purchase orders

Administrative work for the team, including scanning of archives, consignment workings (for all farms), and transferring details within administrative spreadsheets.

Raise purchase orders as requested

Provide general support to the Supply Chain Team, including purchasing and accounts payable functions

Fleet Administration Support

Maintain accurate records of all company-registered vehicles, including registration details, renewal dates, VINs, asset numbers, and assigned drivers.

Support the Supply Chain Manager in coordinating registration renewals, ensuring deadlines are monitored and documentation is prepared in a timely manner.

Assist with processing insurance renewals and maintaining supporting documentation.





Maintain fleet-related administrative files including service histories, safety inspection reports, fuel cards, and associated correspondence.

Monitor and update fleet spreadsheets/databases (e.g., Excel, Oracle, internal registers).

Assist with follow-up on outstanding service bookings, repair requests, or compliance documentation from operational teams.

Support distribution and administration of company fuel cards, replacement cards, and PIN resets.

Prepare routine fleet-related reports as requested (e.g., registration status reports, upcoming renewals, asset allocation summaries).

Skills & Experience:

Basic mathematical knowledge

Strong time management and organisational skills

Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of clients both internal and external

Licence to operate a Forklift (or ability to obtain)

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Proficient computer skills, willingness to learn Oracle Software

Knowledge of purchasing processes, policies and procedures

High level of attention to detail and accuracy while handling sensitive information and ensuring confidentiality at all times
