Wilton HS will be delivered across two stages with Stage 1 of the high school opening on Day 1 Term 1 2027. The school's projected enrolment is 165 students when it opens Stage 1 in 2027 in Yr 7 and 8. Once Stage 2 is complete in 2028, the school will have capacity for up to 1,000 students.

Specific Selection Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria: 1.



Demonstrated capacity to establish a new Mathematics Faculty by developing curriculum and sustainable systems that support high-quality teaching, learning, assessment and feedback for a diverse range of students. 2. Demonstrated capacity to lead and develop a cohesive, high-performing Mathematics Faculty by building staff capability through evidence-informed professional learning and collaborative practice. 3. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and the community, and contribute strategically to the establishment of an inclusive, high-performing school culture. 4. Capacity and ability to be a energetic member of the school executive leadership team and lead initiatives that address whole school strategic directions and priorities.

General Selection Criteria

1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents 5.



Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning 6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
