Head of Engineering – Electronics & Embedded Systems

Location: Sydney, NSW

Salary: $200,000 - $230,000 + bonus + super

A global electronics manufacturer is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead their Electronics Hardware & Embedded Systems team designing advanced solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop hardware, electronics and embedded engineering teams
- Set engineering strategy, technical direction and development priorities
- Oversee product development from concept and prototyping through to production
- Provide technical leadership across electronics, firmware and embedded systems
- Drive engineering quality, processes, verification and delivery
- Manage technical resources, budgets, priorities and engineering capability

Key Skills/Experience

- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Solid technical engineering background in Electronics hardware and embedded systems development (Embedded C/C++, PCB design, Circuit design & simulation)
- Experience with full product development life cycles and technical architecture
- Leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Managing engineering roadmaps and technical delivery
