Job Description

- Must Have Skills: Evaluateand implement new features/functions of DB2 and associated third partyproducts.
- Extensive use of utilitiesand Performance Monitoring tools using BMC, CA and IBM products.
- Consultant on DB2 databaseapplications architecture
- Knowledge of SMP/E and canprepare for and apply maintenance to a DB2 subsystem
- Engineer and execute theprocesses to upgrade and/or apply maintenance to releases / versions ofmainframe database system software, and associated third party products
- Maintain DSNZPARMs

JobDescription:

We are looking for DB2 SystemsProgrammer, who will be part of a Global team responsible for building,configuring and maintaining the Bank’s mainframe systems. Currently we arerunning the largest parallel SysPlex in the Nordic region. Our primary designgoals are service availability, efficiency and resilience, underpinned by thearchitectural principle of cloned infrastructure, system configurations andapplications. Job Responsibilities

- Maintain DSNZPARMs
- Implement automated disasterrecovery mechanisms for Mainframe Database subsystems and associated thirdparty products.Participate in allrecovery coordination activities




- Create & modify WLMaddress spaces for stored procedures as needed
- Database security management
- Backup/Recovery strategies
- Scalability Analysis
- Planning Database maintenancewindow
- Capacity planning
- Monitor and troubleshoot DB2address spaces for any potential issues
- Prepare and executehousekeeping strategies for the DB2 Catalog and Directory.
- Implement security strategyfor DB2 via RACF.
- Troubleshoot Level 3 DB2Database issues.
- Provide Level 3 support totroubleshoot/resolve system level and application problems with DB2 Databasetechnologies and associated Third Party products – coordinateescalation/intervention with vendor as necessary.
- Robust experience ofinstalling, customizing and maintaining Mainframe DB2 and ISV products
- Strong experience managingQ-replication and IBM DB2 Data Analytics accelerator product suite
- Strong experience working with large datasharing SysPlex environment
- Hands-on experience of managing systemoperations, problem diagnosis, performance tuning in both system andapplication arena
- Good experience with IBM DB2Utilities, Disaster recovery and system restoration
- Install, upgrade andadminister mainframe DB2 and DB2 related tools software.
- Assist with testing,implementation and installation of new or improved systems, as well asproduct upgrades.
- Good knowledge on DB2migrations and upgrades for DB2 V12.1 and V13.1 versions.
- Good Knowledge on Problemdiagnosis related to DB2 and their DB2 tools products.
- Strong DB2 system programmingskill,



DB2 recovery, maintain system objects and ZPARM parameterconfiguration.
- Good knowledge of DB2 toolsinstallation and upgrades for IBM utilities, Broadcom products.
- Experience in SMPE knowledge ofRSU maintenance apply procedures.
- Experience in JCL, ISPF, DB2related products, WLM and stored procedures
- Knowledge of performancemonitoring and troubleshooting DB2 issues.
- Strong skill set must beneeded on DB2 data sharing experience and failover process.
- Good knowledge of Disasterrecovery of DB2 systems includes traditional DR and flash copy DR.
- Interact with ticketing toolremedy, service center and other business support areas for problemescalations, resolutions, reporting and coordination.
- Attend meetings and interactregularly with management, team and clients to continuously improve services.Provide 24*7 support if needed on the project support.

- Shouldhave experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environment for 10+ years.
- Supportthe operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure(CICS & MQseries).
- Wellversed with CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs,bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions etc.
- Experiencein upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version.
- Knowledgeon CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations
- Experiencein vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance
- CICSSSL Setup Troubleshooting
- Wellversed with CICSPLEX Setup (CMAS), MRO region Setup and troubleshootrelated issues.
- Experienceand strong knowledge as a Websphere MQSeries on z/OS v7.1 / v9.0
- Installnew releases, apply PTFs to Webshere MQ on z/OS
- Wellversed with MQ Clustering and MQ Objects/Channels/Queues
- Experiencewith upgrading IBM MQ for z/OS will be added advantage.
