As part of our continued expansion in Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Project Sales Consultant to drive growth, develop new customer relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients across the construction sector.

About the Role

This is a genuine relationship-based sales role within a projects based business for a high-performing professional who enjoys hunting new opportunities as much as engaging with customers, solving problems and building long-term partnerships.

You will be responsible for developing and managing a robust sales pipeline across Queensland's agriculture, commercial and industrial sectors. Working closely with our design, estimating and project teams, you will guide customers from initial enquiry through to project award.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage a sales pipeline across agricultural, industrial and commercial markets
- Conduct customer meetings both in office and in-office
- Build and maintain robust relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and closing
- Follow up all enquiries and quotations through the sales funnel
- Maintain accurate CRM records within HubSpot
- Provide technical advice relating to steel buildings, construction methods and Australian Standards
- Review building plans and collaborate with estimators on complex projects
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the project journey




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and sales process discipline

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- 6+ years' experience in project-based sales within construction, building products or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of construction practices, structural steel or related building systems
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and convert opportunities into sales
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret building plans
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-first mindset
