About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading global technology organisation seeking a Senior Consulting Systems Engineer / AI Infrastructure Architect to support enterprise customers across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a highly visible customer-facing role focused on helping organisations design and modernise their infrastructure for the next generation of AI, high-performance computing, cloud and data centre environments.

You will work closely with executive stakeholders, architects, engineers, technology partners and sales teams to shape complex solutions and guide organisations through AI infrastructure transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and architecture engagements.
- Design and present infrastructure solutions across networking, compute, storage and AI platforms.
- Support technical pre-sales activities and strategic customer conversations.
- Develop solution architectures that align with customer business objectives.
- Assess infrastructure readiness for AI and accelerated computing workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering, skilled services and partner teams.
- Create solution designs, technical documentation and customer presentations.
- Support proof of concepts, pilots and strategic infrastructure initiatives.
- Provide guidance on data centre design, deployment and operational best practices.

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years' experience in infrastructure, networking, cloud or architecture-focused positions.
- Strong customer-facing consulting or systems engineering experience.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities. Understanding of modern AI, cloud and infrastructure trends.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.

Highly Desirable

- Experience with AI networking technologies.
- Exposure to NVIDIA ecosystem technologies.
- Experience supporting GPU clusters or AI workloads.
- HPC or large-scale data centre deployment experience.
- Enterprise solution architecture certifications.
- Networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP or equivalent.
- Cloud certifications across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
- TOGAF, CISSP or related certifications.
