On behalf of our client, we're recruiting an experienced Business Services Manager to join a highly respected accounting and advisory firm based in Parramatta .

This is a genuine leadership opportunity to inherit a well-established $1 million portfolio , lead an experienced onshore team and work closely with quality private businesses, family groups and several recognised blue-chip clients.

The firm is one of Australia's leading large boutique accounting practices, offering the resources, career opportunities and client exposure of a much larger organisation, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive culture.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Partners, you'll take ownership of an established client portfolio while leading a team of Senior Accountants, Intermediates and Graduates.

This is a highly autonomous role suited to someone who enjoys building trusted client relationships, delivering commercial advice and mentoring the next generation of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage an established client portfolio worth approximately $1 million in annual fees
- Provide tax, business advisory and strategic advice to a diverse client base
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of onshore accounting professionals
- Review financial statements, tax returns and complex advisory work
- Build long-term client relationships and identify advisory opportunities




- Partner closely with senior leadership on client strategy and business growth
- Drive workflow, quality and team performance

About You

We're seeking an experienced Business Services Manager, although Senior Managers looking for their next career move are also encouraged to apply.

You’ll ideally possess:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Extensive Australian public practice accounting experience
- Strong technical expertise across Business Services and Tax
- Proven experience managing client portfolios and leading teams
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing junior staff
