About the role:

We are partnering with a leading Independent school to recruit their next detail-oriented Academic Administrator. This role ensures the smooth delivery of curriculum and learning processes across Years 7–12, supporting the Directors of Studies (7–10 and 11–12). It plays an important role in keeping complex academic operations running efficiently while contributing to student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate assessments including NAPLAN, HSC, IB, Minimum Standards Testing, and other exams, ensuring compliance with all requirements
- Manage examination logistics, including timetables, room allocations, disability provisions, and exam materials
- Support subject selection processes and Parent-Teacher Interviews, including scheduling, communication, and logistics
- Liaise with internal teams (IT, Operations, Learning Enhancement, Marketing)



and external providers (assessment services, subscription platforms, IB, NESA)
- Prepare and analyse academic data, assessment schedules, and reports for senior assessments and academic awards
- Provide general curriculum administration, training, and process improvement support

Skills and Experience:

- Advanced administrative experience with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and experience with database systems (Compass, Edval, IBIS) (desirable)
- Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
