About the Role

We’re seeking talented and motivated Architects/Experienced Graduates of Architecture with 5+ years on Australian architectural projects to join our Gold Coast and/or Brisbane studio.



This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while continuing to grow professionally in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate drawings, models, and schedules using Revit

- Review and check documentation before submitting to the Project Leader (PL) for final approval

- Efficiently coordinate consultant input and documentation across project phases

- Support the PL in client, consultant, and authority meetings to facilitate project progress and approvals

- Liaise with certifiers and relevant authorities to support the approval process

- Assist the PL with project reviews and promptly apply recommendations

- Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure accurate documentation of site conditions

- Assist in resolving architectural issues and defects on-site

- Collaborate with architects and interior designers on agreed project roles

- Assist in developing documentation programs aligned with fees and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources

- Alert the PL of any risks to program or budget

- Document key decisions and maintain organised, accessible project records

- Research materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with Client-Architect Agreements, codes, and consultant inputs

- Implement CPA’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all records and documentation are compliant

- Demonstrate high attention to detail and ensure all work aligns with CPA’s documentation standards and quality protocols





- Maintain accurate and organised project records and documentation

Qualifications

- Masters of Architecture or equivalent degree from a recognised institution.

Required Skills

- 5+ years' experience in Australian architectural practice.

- Demonstrated experience delivering multi-residential and/or townhouse developments or retail and commercial projects

- Strong knowledge of Australian documentation standards and construction methods

- High-level technical proficiency in architectural drawing and documentation

- Excellent communication and project coordination skills

- Demonstrated growth in understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials through ongoing research and application

Preferred Skills

- Eligible for registration as an Architect in Australia

- Minimum 5 years of post-master’s experience on Australian projects

- Strong technical proficiency in architectural documentation and construction methods

- High-level proficiency in Revit

- Excellent communication and coordination skills
