The Associate, Mechatronics Design Engineering, is primarily responsible for assisting in mechatronics engineering tasks, supporting the design, testing, and development of integrated mechanical, electrical, and software systems for the production line. You will work closely with engineers to analyze system performance, refine designs, and troubleshoot issues, applying engineering principles to enhance automation and intelligent systems.

Specifics Include

- Working closely with other departments to specify, design, procure and build manufacturing equipment for the production lines.
- Experience in SolidWorks modelling and drawing.
- Strong knowledge in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Has a hands-on approach and is willing to build the designs and troubleshoot
- Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation




- Ensure rigorous quality control and complete all required training
- Designing and implementing control systems for automation
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration of sensors, actuators, and mechanical components

Experience:
- MTO (small to medium) experience in the optical industry is ideal but not essential
- 5 years' experience in designing high precision, automated production equipment
- Proficient in SolidWorks and PDM
- Automation Engineers or Industrial Automation Engineers background, or Mechatronics background is considered highly beneficial.
- Commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
