About Praveda

Praveda is Versatile Group’s in-house engineering consultancy.

Working directly with our development and construction teams, Praveda provides engineering expertise from early concept and feasibility through design, approvals, construction and project completion.

This means our engineers aren't simply designing from the sidelines. They work directly with the people developing and building the projects, influencing decisions and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

We are now looking for experienced Associates / Discipline Leads across:

? Mechanical

? Electrical

? Fire

? Hydraulic The Opportunity

This is a senior technical leadership role for someone ready to take genuine ownership of their discipline, their team and the quality of the work they deliver.

You'll be responsible for

- Leading the technical delivery and design quality of your discipline.
- Developing projects from concept through DA, CC, tender and construction documentation.
- Undertaking design reviews, verification and validation.
- Preparing and reviewing technical specifications, calculations and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards and relevant regulations.
- Coordinating your discipline with other Building Services disciplines.
- Leading, mentoring and developing engineers, designers and drafting staff.
- Providing practical engineering, value management and buildability advice.




- Working directly with development and construction teams to resolve project issues.
- Contributing to the growth and development of Praveda.

A critical requirement The successful candidate must have the professional qualifications, registrations and technical authority required to certify the work produced by their team within their discipline.

This includes relevant NSW Design and Building Practitioner (DBP) requirements, where applicable, together with NCC and other statutory certification requirements.

About You

We're looking for established Building Services specialists with:

✔️ 10+ years' experience in your specialist discipline.

✔️ Strong Australian project experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire or Hydraulic Services.

✔️ Demonstrated technical leadership experience.

✔️ Robust knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and relevant statutory requirements.

✔️ The professional authority and experience required to certify work within your discipline.

✔️ Relevant NSW DBP registration/eligibility, where applicable.

✔️ Experience leading, mentoring and developing technical teams.

✔️ A practical understanding of construction and buildability.

✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
