Role Description

The Automotive General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Newcastle Area. This role oversees day-to-day dealership operations across new and used vehicle sales, finance and insurance, service, and parts departments to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction.





Responsibilities include setting and monitoring sales and profitability targets, developing and implementing operational processes, and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

The General

Manager leads and mentors department managers and staff, supports recruitment and training efforts, and promotes a positive workplace culture. This role also involves maintaining strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and partners, managing budgets and forecasting, and driving initiatives that support growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in automotive dealership management or a similar leadership role, with responsibility for sales, service, and parts operations.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams, including department managers and frontline staff.
