About the Role:
The Parts Person will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of the delivery of correct parts.
- Receiving delivery of parts for the centre
- Safely lifting and moving automotive parts and materials around the workshop
- Confirming parts are correct and allocating to the correct vehicle/repair
- Arranging parts to be exchanged if not suitable
- Keeping parts delivery area clean and accessible
- Matching up invoices
- Assisting other team members as necessary
About You:
- Sound knowledge of automotive parts
- Prior experience in an automotive parts, storeperson or similar role strongly preferred
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Physically capable of performing regular manual handling tasks and working in an active role that involves frequent movement throughout the repair centre
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a team first attitude and willingness to learn
- Permanent Resident or appropriate Australian working rights
