Join a leading maintenance team for an upcoming shutdown project at Mt Piper Power Station, Central West NSW. Excellent rates, food & travel allowances, and provided accommodation.

Are you a skilled tradesperson looking for your next shutdown? We're seeking Fitters and Boilermakers for a major industrial shutdown in the Central West NSW region.

THE WORK

Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of rotating and structural equipment — including fans, compressors, turbines, ductwork, and associated plant — within a professional and safety-focused shutdown team.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

- 2 x Hole Watcher / Trade Assistant – confined space monitoring, assisting trades with tools and materials, maintaining safe work areas, and supporting general shutdown and maintenance activities.

- 4 x Boilermakers – fabrication, plate and pipe welding, and structural repairs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Trade qualification (Fitter & Machinist / Boilermaker)





- Experience in industrial, mining or power-station environments

- Ability to work safely and effectively under shutdown timeframes

- Good communication and teamwork skills

HIGHLY REGARDED EXPERIENCE

- Overhaul of fans, compressors, turbines

- Shaft alignment and balancing (Fitters)

- Structural and pressure welding (Boilermakers)

WHAT'S ON OFFER

- $42 to $62/hr inclusive of super penalties (paid weekly)

- 6:1 roster (six days on / one day off)

- Accommodation provided for eligible non-locals

- Daily food allowance

- Return travel covered (one trip in, one trip out)

- All PPE supplied

- Professional and safety-driven environment

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

- Current Confined Space & Working at Heights (mandatory)

- White Card

- Able to pass pre-employment medical & D&A; screen

- Full Australian working rights and valid photo ID
