An opportunity is available for a Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join an established transport and manufacturing business based near Larapinta.
This is a hands-on workshop role working across structural steel, aluminium, transport equipment and general fabrication. You’ll be involved in MIG welding, fabrication, assembly and modifications, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and getting jobs completed to specification.
Duties
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Fabricating and assembling structural steel and transport components
- Working with mild steel and aluminium
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Fabrication, repairs and modifications
- Measuring, fitting and assembling components
- Using workshop machinery and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
Skills & Experience
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker – Engineering Fabrication
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
- Experience in structural steel,
transport equipment or general engineering fabrication
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with aluminium highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
